The bedroom receives wonderful morning and southern light. New bathroom finishes keep things fresh. Be spoiled by modern amenities including an on-demand tankless water heater, private well, and solar for power generation. Cell service off wi-fi is available (yes there is internet!). Setting this property further apart from other mountain properties, here you will own a part of Colorado history. In front of the main cabin sits the 1884 cabin. "... one of the two original cabins built during 1884 in what was then Camp Austin." This guest cabin was one of two cabins that "formed the nucleus for what was to become the little mining camp of Turret" (from the book Trails of the Columbine). Restored with it's small wood stove, it is the perfect place for friends and family to stay. A utility shed houses solar equipment, tools, and toys.
